Welcome to the Doonhamer 10K road race, organised by Dumfries Harriers taking place at 10.30am on Sunday 25th August 2024.
We are delighted to bring you the Doonhamer 10K which starts and finishes in the Dock Park, beside the River Nith in Dumfries. The race traces the pathways alongside the river and crosses the Nith several times using the Buccleuch Street, Suspension and Kirkpatrick MacMillan bridges. This race will be operated as per UK Athletics rules (pending Scottish Athletics license, no: 13554) with a race limit of 225 – enter early to guarantee your place!
Entry costs just £18 for SA/EA/WA affiliated members, £20 for Non-affiliated runners which includes;
• Chip timing
• On course water stop
• Goody bag for every finisher
• First aid
• Kilometre markers and well marshalled route
• Limited car parking and toilet facilities
