After Dark at Ellisland

November 30 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

£14.00 – £46.00

Once home to Robert Burns, and the place where he penned supernatural masterpiece Tam O’ Shanter, Ellisland Farm is set in a rustic, riverside location steeped in history and folklore. Gather after dark, when the farm takes on a more otherworldly atmosphere, and discover a collection of tales, both from Ellisland and her environs, featuring everything from mysterious monks to a malevolent mermaid, the tragic story of an old wise-woman to hauntings that terrified residents of a local farmhouse…

Ellisland itself is home to many a spine-tingling tale: mysterious children, unexplained cries and a lady with a golden glow reveal a different side to this much-loved farm and museum.

Absorb Ellisland’s unique ambiance as we bring alive characters and events from our local history whose impact still resonates today…
