Art and craft aficionados are invited to enjoy a forthcoming exhibition at All Saints Church, Challoch, showcasing a wide variety of arts and craft talent
including painting, drawing, photography, woodwork, cardmaking, as well as samples of Carrickmacross lace, knitting, crochet, spinning, weaving and floral art. One of the more unusual items on display will be a ‘mouse house’ made from wood and clay inspired by the Late Jill Barklem of Brambly Hedge fame.
Demonstrations of some of the skills will be held throughout the two days. Visitors will also be able to enjoy a selection of home-made refreshments.
Saturday, 13th 10am-4pm; Sunday, 14th 12 noon-4pm after the church service (10.30am) to which everyone is welcome. The venue has free car parking, disabled entrance and toilet. Entry is free, donations welcome.
