Chris Bannister plays the music of John Denver

Chris Bannister is an exceptionally talented singer-songwriter in his own right., and has just released another album, ‘The Calling Course’. He also performs a simply stunning tribute to the music of John Denver.

This is not a “lookalike” tribute. Chris has the ability to recreate the sound of John Denver. He regularly performs in Aspen, Colorado, to sell out audiences and he has worked alongside some of the musicians from John Denver’s band. Steve Weisberg, lead guitar player in Denver’s band, played on hits, ‘Annie’s Song’, ‘Back Home Again’ and ‘Grandma’s Feather Bed’. In recognition of Chris’s work in honouring the music of John Denver, Steve bequeathed his 1937 Epiphone guitar to Chris in his will.
