Is climate change on your mind? Do you feel like you want to do something about it, but you’re not sure what? Or are you already bursting with ideas and keen to work with like-minded souls to “cook up” environmental solutions?
Our new monthly Climate Kitchen is the place for you!
The Climate Kitchen, run by local community members, will be a space for learning, sharing, contributing and working together to do something positive for the climate!
• Repair Table – Bring along old clothing or something that needs up-cycled, learn how to sew and skill share with others
• Eco News Discussion corner – What’s being said about climate change in the news and what are you saying about it? Let’s discuss!
• Open Table – Sit down for a cuppa and a chat about what’s going on or take part in letter writing, crafts or another activity – the open table will be open to your suggestions!
• The Climate Kitchen will also host short films, a Sharing’s Caring Open Mic and other contributions from the community – if you’ve got an idea for an activity, talk or film please get in touch!
The Stove cafe will be open for drinks PLUS we’ll be serving up some sustainable food options during the night.
So if you’ve got an appetite for change OR an appetite for a cuppa and some locally sourced food then we look forward to seeing you there!
