On the 20th and 21st of October, from 10.30am – 4.30pm, Confluence The World is hosting a fundraising exhibition at The Smithy, Midsteeple Quarter, Dumfries, Scotland.
Confluence Books and Photography from the project will be on sale at reduced prices. Books will be half price – £20.00 Photographs, both framed and unframed will be for sale. Every penny raised will go to support the people most affected.
There will also be storytelling at 11.30am and 2.30pm each day
All proceeds will be gifted directly to The British Moroccan Society Earthquake Appeal Through kind donations, The British Moroccan Society are providing warm clothes, food, insulated living spaces, water purification units and mattresses to the people living in the mountains where snow is expected to fall soon. If you can spare just £1 it will help those who have been most affected. Every penny raised will be donated to The British Moroccan Society Earthquake Appeal who are working tirelessly to ensure that those with the greatest need are being given support.
Copies of the Confluence book ‘Celtic and Arabian Visions and Stories’ will be for sale at half price – £20
Framed and unframed photography from the Confluence book and previous Confluence exhibitions has been kindly donated and will be for sale at fixed prices with the aim being to raise as much as possible for the appeal.
There will also be live storytelling at 11.30am and 2.30pm both days with our resident Confluence storyteller Anne Errington.
It will be a wonderful two days of ‘Confluencing’ and raising much needed funds for those in need. We look forward to seeing you all there
