Greet the dawn with the spectacular flight of the barnacle geese departing the reserve as the sun comes up.
These beautiful birds have spent the night out on the Solway mudflats and fly in to feed on the fields during the day. Join the wardens out on the merse, as we open early to watch the geese flying against the dawn sky.
Date: Saturday 7th December
Time: 6.45am – 9.15am
Price: £10 pp with optional additional £6 for breakfast
Booking: Booking is essential so call 01387 770200 to reserve your space.
What to bring: A torch, binoculars if you have them and warm, waterproof clothing and footwear as it will be cold and likely wet.
