Rob Wainwright is and team are visiting Castle Douglas as once again he is captaining an epic cycle for My Name’5 Doddie Foundation!
Led by former Scottish rugby team captain Rob Wainwright a team of some 300 cyclists in aid of this charity will be travelling through the area on 5th February between 8am and 10.30am pausing at Stewartry rugby clubhouse at Greenlaw.on their cycle cycling from Stranraer to Murrayfield. The brave individuals taking on this winter Caledonian adventure who will join Rob on the road in South West of Scotland include Dougie Vipond (sports presenter and Deacon Blue drummer) and past Scottish players

Their aim is simple, to cover a route of over 700 miles over four days finishing in Edinburgh on Saturday 8th February before Scotland takes on Ireland at Murrayfield on the 9th.
Come along and support the cyclists on this worthy venture. Bacon rolls, teas and coffees will be available in the clubhouse.
