Family Fun Day

We are organising a charity event to raise money for Breast Cancer Now. This will include a sponsored walk setting off from Lockerbie Delivery Office and walking to Johnstonebridge Community Centre.
Following the walk, we will be holding a Family Fun Day at Johnstonebridge Community Centre. This will be a ticket entry which includes a BBQ roll, drink, bouncy castle and lawn games. Walkers will get in free.
There will also be a raffle, baking stall, face painting, guess the weight of the cake, guess the sweeties in the jar, guess the teddy bears birthday and other stalls at the fun day.
The event is to raise money for Breast Cancer Now following my stage 4 cancer diagnosis earlier this year. My husband and I would like to support Breast Cancer Now as they work to both support breast cancer partners and their families and also to further medical research into treatments. Currently my cancer is incurable, which is absolutely devastating at the age of 40 and with two young children, but hopefully clinical research might find new treatments which would extend the time we have left as a family of four.
