A weekend of celebrating our wonderful geese before they begin their spring migration.
Three days of all things geese and Caerlaverock!
Date: Friday 28th – Sunday 30th March
Friday 28th March
– Join us for a day of talks from WWT Caerlaverock staff and local experts everything from work happening on the reserve to natterjack toads.
Saturday 29th March
– Enjoy a breakfast the the Boathouse, Glencaple and watch from the picture window how birds spend their morning on the river, with experts from WWT Caerlaverock.
– After hours walk through the wetlands to watch the geese flock overhead to the mudflats where they spend the night.
Sunday 30th March
– Take a 6 mile walk from WWT Caerlaverock up Wardlaw hill and then along the NNR path back to the visitor centre. We will be on the lookout for geese and other wetland residents.
