Welcome to the relaunch of Horses4help Community Interest Company (CIC) Therapeutic Horsemanship Centre following our relocation to beautiful Wigtown, Dumfriesshire!
To show what we do and how we can help, we are having an Open Day here on 23rd May from 1-5pm.
Therapeutic Horsemanship can benefit a wide range of adults and children including those with behavioural challanges, mental health problems and learning difficulties. It can also benefit anyone looking to improve confidence and self awareness.
We would like to invite along Teachers and any Support Workers in the following, but not exclusive areas:
π΄ Secondary School Support Teachers – we have developed, and successfully executed, our unique 8-week Equine Facilitated Learning programme from first year to leavers. This is especially useful for pupils who are not attending school or are struggling with a classroom environment.
π΄ Mental Health Support Teams
π΄ Autistic Children and Adult Support Groups
π΄ Dementia Support Groups
π΄ Carer Respite
π΄ Youth Support Groups
π΄ Self Harm and Substance Abuse Support Groups
π΄ Womens Aid Groups
π΄ Mens Support Groups
