Be part of the Great UK WaterBlitz
Our team will show you how to take water samples of water from the river Annan with The Great UK WaterBlitz kits. This data collected from the river Annan and across the UK is crucial to fight for cleaner rivers and freshwater systems.
The Great UK WaterBlitz is a campaign organised by environmental charity, Earthwatch Europe. The campaign asks people across the UK to go out and measure the water quality of their local rivers, streams and lakes. With this data Earthwatch Europe scientists can build a snapshot of freshwater health and take action to restore our rivers and freshwater systems.
Join us to help the health of river systems locally and nationally. Everyone welcome, please wear weatherproof clothes and wellies. You can drop in Everholm car park throughout the day, booking not required.
