Join environmental artist and SCAMP education officer, Jan Hogarth, for an exploration of the beauty of Saltmarsh through sketching. Sketching forces you to sit still and observe, and be “in the moment”. Not only do you see more and take in the surrounding biodiversity and nature but it helps to promote wellbeing.
Jan will show you how to draw quickly and capture the atmosphere from the big picture to the tiniest of detail of the merse.
Saltmarsh Sketching Walks leave from the Annan harbour ImMerse basecamp at 11.30am and 1.30pm. The sessions last about 1.45 hours but you can drop in and out. Materials are provided.
Please come dressed for the weather and terrain which will be undulating with mud underfoot in places.
