Inks from the Forest

In this workshop, we will first explore the woods near Shambellie revealing how different plants and trees can be transformed into homemade wild ink. This will include giving a historical context to how inks were created and used in the past. Following this, the day will include a demonstration of how to make inks at home and details on how different results can be achieved. There shall also be plenty of time to try out and experiment with a variety of pre-made inks and participants will be able to take an ink home at the end of the day.
