Kirkcudbright Autumn Festival runs over three days and includes a wide range of great events, workshops and activities, the majority of which are free to enjoy. The following are just some of the great range of what’s on:
3rd – 5th – Light installations throughout Kirkcudbright
Sunday 29th September; lantern making workshops in which you make a lantern you can use to join the Lantern parade – free family workshops in the Parish Church Hall from 12 noon – 6pm
Wednesday 2nd – Friday 4th October:
Stained glass window craft workshops from 3.30pm – 4.30pm each day in Clann – a free family event
Saturday 5th October:
Punch & Judy Show in the Soaperie Gardens
Stalls, activities, face painting, the little lochan and more in the Soaperie Gardens from 12 noon – 7pm
Autumn Fair with stall in the Parish Church Hall 1pm – 7pm
Workshops and activities in the Kirkcudbright Galleries
Dark Art Distillery Tours from 3pm – 5pm and cocktails from 6pm – 8pm
Fire Juggling performances at 5.30pm and 6,30pm in Soaperie Gardens
Lantern Parade from 7.30pm, which makes its way through the town ending on the Moat Brae with a fire juggling show and fireworks finale at approximately 8.30pm
