Lochmaben Easter Eggstravaganza

Come and have loads of fun finding chocolate eggs, decorating eggs, racing with eggs +plus loads more at the Lochmaben Eggstravaganza!
The egg hunt: 10 groups of 25 battle it out to see who can be the overall top 3 to find their chocolate eggs the fastest. These 3 will be awarded either a gold, silver or bronze medal and 1 of 3 Easter eggs. It’s every participant for themselves! Good luck to you all! Each group will have 30 minutes to find their 6 chocolate eggs each.
The decorating: The same groups will then decorate a boiled egg each with the tools provided. The best decorated (decorated in the allocated 20 minutes*) 3 of each group will win either a 1st, 2nd or 3rd medal and a chocolate Easter egg. They will be judged on looks, originality and how tough they are! May the best eggs win! *Those that don’t finish in the 20 minutes will be disqualified.
The racing: Finally, each group in turn will gather at the start line and race in the egg and spoon race to see which hunter is the fastest with the best hand eye co-ordination. Each group will have a chance to get their hands on either a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place medal and a bag of Haribo sweets and a chocolate egg.
The rest: There will be some free to play games on site as well to play and have fun with, there’s also a BBQ cart for refreshments (priced separately), some pay to play games and a baked goods stall. Loads to do and loads of fun to be had! Come on and get your tickets before they sell out!
*3 groups of 10 will be on the go at one time. You will be given a time for when your group will be called to action and what activity you will start with. Once this time arrives you can make your way to your task. Each task will last around 30 minutes in total (including winner announcing). There will be a 15 minute buffer time to announce winners and allow you to get from and to your next task. The rest of the festivities are open for all to use at anytime during the festival.
**You must have a ticket to take part in the Hunt, Decorating and Race. The rest of the festival will be free to enter and partake in. Including the free to play games.
