Mindfulness, Acceptance and Appreciation

During the day we will be looking at how to develop more appreciation and savour life’s special moments no matter how fleeting, and to bring an attitude of acceptance and kindness towards ourselves and others. Recent neuroscience research shows the benefits of establishing a happier mind for health and well-being, We will look at the work of neuropsychologist Rick Hanson and take the first practical steps towards establishing a daily mindfulness practice, integrating these transformative practices into our busy lives.
