Each week is packed with process-based, hands-on fun designed to build confidence and creativity:
🌟 Week 1 (27th May) – Foil Sculpture Friends
Start with a sculptural bang! Children will twist and wrap foil around wire to build their very own creature, monster, or animal. We’ll explore building shapes, balancing forms, and making their ideas come to life in 3D.
🌟 Week 2 (3rd June) – Patterned Play: Magic Watercolour Tiles
Children will create secret patterns using white crayons or oil pastels, then reveal their designs by painting over them with bright watercolours. A beautiful, magical surprise every time!
🌟 Week 3 (10th June) – Textured Tape Resist: My Initials
Children will design their initials using masking tape on thick card. They’ll layer on colour and texture with crayons, pastels, or paint, then peel the tape away to reveal their bold and unique name artwork.
🌟 Week 4 (17th June) – Concertina Cityscapes
We’ll create a fold-out cityscape using paint sticks and posca pens. Children will draw their own buildings, signs, fantasy scenes, or even space stations! A fun way to explore storytelling through drawing and design.
🌟 Week 5 (24th June) – Colour Explosion Coffee Filters
A colourful sensory delight! Kids will fold and tie coffee filters with rubber bands, then add vibrant watercolour inks. As the colours bleed and blend, they’ll reveal bold, tie-dye inspired patterns—perfect for displaying or turning into sun catchers.
🌟 Week 6 (1st July) – Magical Mixed Media Collage & Mini Gallery
To wrap up the term, we’ll dive into our big box of crafty bits: paper, felt, foil, feathers, stickers and more. Children can create a wild and wonderful final masterpiece to show off in a mini pop-up gallery for parents at 4:25pm.
