Movement Medicine with Bernadeta

We are delighted to be offering Movement Medicine with Bernadeta Zyla.

Movement Medicine® is a grounding and uplifting conscious dance practice suitable for anybody, no previous experience needed.
Movement Medicine dance supports you to still your thinking mind, connect to your elemental self, awaken creativity, befriend emotions.
Whether you love dancing or think you can’t dance, just enjoy the luxury of being you and give your body the space and time to move to a soundscape of music; explore, play, find freedom, aliveness and your authentic self. I invite you to make time for yourself and re-connect to the simplicity of the body, breath and movement.

Dancing solo, with a partner and in community are all encouraged.

INSTRUCTIONS
Please wear loose comfortable layers so you can regulate your temperature. Bare feet or soft dance shoes are recommended. The floor in Beeswing Hall can be a little cold so non-slippy socks might be a ​good idea.
Bring a water bottle with you.

Beeswing Memorial Hall does not appear on Google maps but is very easy to find. It is on the main road in Beeswing – you will see it on the right hand side if approaching from Dumfries.

Please note that parking is limited at the hall so please car share where possible and be aware that cars may have to block each other in. If there is not a space at the hall you will find parking elsewhere in the village – either by the main road or on one of the right turns in the village (right if approaching from Dumfries side). There is also additional parking by the playing field.

We will have an altar set up in the hall so if you would like to bring something to add to it you are welcome to.
