The event has passed.

The Climate Kitchen, run by local community members, is a space for learning, sharing, contributing and working together to do something positive for the climate!

This month’s meet-up theme is ‘Preparing for Election; Presentations on Politics and Climate’.

We will be joined by guest speakers Benjamin Franks, Ian Gasse and Neil from Climate Kitchen.

Benjamin Franks, Glasgow University: should we vote, what are the options?
Ian Gasse, historian and writer on social and political movements: What are the likely voting options and how do we secure the best outcomes for people and planet?
Neil, Climate Kitchen: what’s the likely spin on policies from the climate sceptics.

Followed by a facilitated discussion to create a series of questions about their parties’ environmental policies to put to our parliamentary candidates for D&G (once they are announced).

Climate Kitchen is open to anyone and everyone! This evening promises to be simple, fun, effective, and suitable for all skill levels including.

The Stove Cafe will be open for food and drinks from 5:30pm, so if you’ve got an appetite for change OR an appetite for a cuppa and some locally sourced food then we look forward to seeing you there!

Doors open at 5:30pm for food, the event starts at 6pm sharp.
