Orienteering is an exciting outdoor sport. It’s a race with set points but no set route between them! Walk, jog or run it’s up to you. The fastest round in the correct order wins.
This series of 4 events will run weekly – same time, same place – starting on Wednesday 6th September.
Each week there will be two new courses to try, all starting from the car park outside Easterbrook Hall in the Crichton grounds. The courses on offer will be:
Short course 2km
Long course 4km
(Nb. Distances are for guidance and may differ slightly from week to week. Please note that distances are measured in a straight line between checkpoints. In reality, you will not be able to go direct from check point to check point, so expect to run a bit further.)
