Come along and take part in this fun and adventurous event.
The first of Solway Orienteers Wednesday evening Summer series will be held in Silvercraig and Barhill Wood next to Kirkcudbright. We will have 3 exciting courses on offer.
Courses are:
Short approx 1.5 k – Suitable for beginners, families and juniors. Navigate your way round this course where all the check points will be located on or next to paths.
Medium approx 2.4 k – Suitable for those with some orienteering experience. On this course expect to go short distances cross country.
Long apporx 3 k – Suitable for experienced orienteers. Expect to go cross country and to encounter rough ground underfoot.

Start times will run from 18:30 – 19:15
SI timing will be used at this event.
Courses close at 20:15.
The entry fees for this event are £4 per adult and £2 per junior with a 50% surcharge for non-members. Non members are welcome and there will be help on hand for anyone who is new to the sport to get started.
