Peter Pan: An Outdoor Show at Moat Brae

Share this event:
Event Date
August 26 @ 6:30 pm

A Neverland like no other, with puppets created by one of J.M Barrie’s relations, SISATA’s outdoor production of Peter Pan is one you won’t want to miss.

In a unique twist, the rugged isle of Portland – a jewel in the Jurassic Coast – is the inspiration behind Neverland in this latest production of Peter Pan. Meet the natives of Portland, pirates and smugglers and a prehistoric Jurassic monster intent on consuming Captain Hook.
Interwoven with puppets hand-crafted by lead puppet maker Sarah Butterworth – a distant relative of Peter Pan’s author, this is set to be a truly unforgettable outdoor show.

In this ultimate battle of the generations, the fresh, innovative youth take on the strength and wisdom of age and experience. In the light of the major challenges the world is currently facing, how can we learn from each other to create a bright future? How do we face the fear of growing up and embrace the advantages of ageing without clinging to eternal youth?

Embedded with original music, current affairs and boatloads of fun, this show has something for everyone.

So grab your picnics, picnic rugs and/or camping chairs and get ready to fly off to Neverland this summer.
