Pirate Day at JPJ Museum

Arrr! Me hearties, there be a fun family day out with a bounty of fun activities for swashbucklers or scurvy dogs to enjoy.
Follow a treasure trail around the museum grounds, walk the plank, make a pirate’s hat and eye patch, try on costumes and more.
John Paul Jones became the Father of the American Navy and a hero to Americans, French and Russians but was seen as a pirate by the British. You can visit the cottage overlooking the Solway where he was born and step into a recreation of his ship’s cabin.
Admission is £4.50 for adults, £4 concessions and free for accompanied children.
