A celebration of Sanquhar Knitting – see how it is done

Dumfries Museum has many excellent examples of wonderful Sanquhar knitwear. We are very pleased to be able to host a special display of Sanquhar knitting in Dumfries Museum and to have a talented Sanquhar knitter within the museum to demonstrate how the knitwear is created.

This is a free, drop-in event organised to augment our current exhibition, ‘Everyone and Everywhere: Folk Art in Dumfries Museum’. No need to book to attend. Our thanks to A’The Airts, Sanquhar and Sanquhar Pattern Designs for their assistance in organising this event.
