Annan Prepares to ‘Step Back In Time’
Annan High Street comes alive with the sound of music this Saturday as Annan History Town introduce a new event to their Summer Festival.
From 10.30 am onwards, visitors to the High Street will enjoy entertainment along the High Street, ranging from good old-fashioned songs from the sixties onwards, ukulele music, and guitarists.
Living statues will also be a big attraction, in the form of Miss Copper Kettle and Lady Pierrot.
Local businesses get in the act as well, with special ‘Step Back’ offers for Saturday only. Shoppers will have the opportunity to win Love Annan shopping vouchers by visiting the Annan History Town stall near the Café Royal.
Youngsters will be able to enjoy balloon magic and amazing animals as the Kingdom of Creatures make appearances along the High Street. Facepainting also takes place during the day.
Enjoy a day out in Annan this Saturday 20th. August – there is plenty to entertain you throughout the morning and early afternoon.
