Stranraer Local Food Gathering

We are delighted to be coming to Stranraer for one of the 2023 Local Food Gatherings!

The D&G Local Food Gatherings are now in their 3rd year.
Each year we choose 4 different locations across the region to hold the Gatherings.
The Gatherings are for people involved in food in different ways: Farmers and Growers, food business and hospitality, educators, health workers, policy makers, community food activists, food citizens and more…

If you grow, produce, cook, distribute, sell, share or eat food you are welcome.

Each event features:
3 inspiring speakers from local food projects, businesses, farm or other local food activity.
We will share a delicious lunch featuring as much locally produced food as possible.
There will be an opportunity to have your say on local food issues through stimulating discussion.
