Talk – A Scottish Colourist in our Midst: F. C. B. Cadell

Join us for an evening talk with Alice Strang on the Scottish Colourist F. C. B. Cadell . Alice Strang, former Senior Curator, National Galleries of Scotland, will discuss his personal and professional links, by way of his remarkable paintings. Alice will be introduced by John Stewart, descendent of the Stewart Family, who will explain the links between Cadell and Shambellie House.

Please arrive from 5pm to allow time to see some Cadell Paintings, not previously been exhibited and and view the Quilt Exhibition also taking place in the House. John will introduce Alice at 6pm for her talk which will last around 45 minutes and be followed by a question and answer session and another chance to spend some time enjoying the House.
