Join us at the Buccleuch & Queensberry Arms Hotel in Thornhill to celebrate Burns Night in style. On Saturday 28th January, we’re hosting a traditional Burns Supper with a BQA twist.
Expect a mixture of Scottish heritage, local produce, live music, poetry, wit and outstanding food and drink as we celebrate the memory of Robert Burns.
Celebrate Burns night in the poet’s beloved home in the heart of Dumfries and Galloway. Head Chef Reece Watkin and his team have prepared a spectacular four course menu, serving up a mixture of traditional Burns Supper dishes, local and seasonal produce. Guests will be greeted with an arrival drink and canapes by our hosts before being called to supper by the piper. Our Master of Ceremonies will start the evening with a blessing before our staff serve the first of four courses. Staff will ensure the drinks stay flowing as the Haggis is piped in and toasted. Courses will be punctuated with readings and celebrations, finishing with a selection of local cheeses, live music and, of course, a dram. Expect roaring fires, Scottish humour and, most importantly, a night to remember.
We’re hosting a traditional Burns Supper in a banquet style setting in our stunning function room, accompanied by our Master of Ceremonies, Bagpipes and live music from renowned local duo, Smith & McLennan.
Join us and our Master of Ceremonies to eat, drink and toast the Bard himself. Dress to impress.
