The Elements of Mindfulness in the Environment

This day will be both an introduction to the foundations of mindfulness practice to settle and calm our busy mind and body, and an overview of how the natural elements within our environment can affect our health and well-being. We will then take our mindfulness practice outside (weather permitting) to enjoy the surrounding grounds of Shambellie to mindfully walk on the earth, flow with the water, breath in the air and warm up the body, helping restore our over-all balance. Practices of the 5 Elements are based on Tibetan philosophical and medical traditions.

No experience is necessary.
