December Meeting

The speaker will be Ivor Waddell whose presentation will be “The Galloway Levellers 1723/4: A Tercentenary Review”. The Galloway Levellers were groups of small tenant farmers and crofters, who roamed the SW of Scotland taking action against local landowners who wanted to enclose their land and evict them to make way for cattle.
This meeting will also be streamed. Those wishing to view by Zoom should register by contacting secretary@kirkcudbrighthistorysociety.org.uk
