Third Sector Children and Young People Forum

The Third Sector Children and Young People Forum in Dumfries and Galloway is an open forum that connects third sector organisations including charities, voluntary organisations, community groups and social enterprises, that provide services to children, young people, and families.

Aim: To ensure the third sector is recognised as an equal and essential partner in building a better future for the children, young people and families living in Dumfries and Galloway.

The purpose of the forum:

To motivate, inspire, include, and build trust
To share learning, information, skills, experiences, and other relevant resources
To facilitate timely, targeted, and responsive communication
To create opportunities and mechanisms for collaboration
To increase participation in children services planning
To co-ordinate representative views on behalf of the members and to feedback any responses.

The forum is open to anyone working or volunteering in third sector organisations in Dumfries and Galloway delivering services to children and young people.
