The Third Sector Health and Social Care Forum is for anyone within the third sector who works towards improving the health and wellbeing of their beneficiaries.
During covid, the forum was moved online but we now acknowledge the desire to meet face to face again by introducing this, our first face to face forum in over 3 years!
The third sector health and social care forum in June 2023 will focus on relationships, building them, maintaining them and the importance of them. Supporting our communities health and wellbeing, whether that is as a registered health and social care provider or as a volunteer walking group, is an important role and so we want to supporting healthy relationships, healthy conversation, innovation and diversity. The Forum is open to anyone contributing in this area, whether a volunteer, a paid member of staff, a frontline worker or a regional manager.
During the event there will be 2 Q&A sessions; 1 session with Julie White, Chief Officer of Dumfries & Galloway Health and Social Care Partnership and Chief Operating Officer NHS Dumfries & Galloway, and a second session with the commissioning team. We would like to use these sessions to encourage positive relationships and get to know the roles and the people within the roles. Please submit any questions to Niomi Nichol (niomi.nichol@tsdg.org.uk) by 4pm on Friday 9th June 2023.
There will also be our first Organisation Spotlight, an opportunity for organisations to tell us about what they do, how they do it and what they need from us as a forum. This month will be hosted by Stroke Association Scotland.
At the networking and marketplace event from 3:30pm – 5pm, we would like to invite organisations to showcase their organisation and/or services by holding a table or space. If you would be interested in this, please contact Niomi Nichol at niomi.nichol@tsdg.org.uk or 0300 303 8558.
