The club is delighted to welcome Glenda Bowman, who will be speaking on “My Connection to Great Dixter”. Great Dixter garden was created by the renowned gardener and garden writer Christopher Lloyd, and is now owned by Great Dixter Charitable Trust. It is managed by Head Gardner Fergus Garret and is based on the arts and crafts style, featuring topiary, a long border, an orchard and a wild flower meadow. The planting is profuse and vibrant and has featured many bold experiments of form, colour and combination. It has long been regarded as one of the jewels of English gardens for its setting, innovative planting and use of colour and texture.
