Visiting the Green Well of Scotland, One of Scotland’s most important wells for a discussion about its past, present and future.

Join us for a discussion about the Green Well of Scotland’s past, present and future role in the landscape and community. Was it a sacred Well? What stories are associated with the Green Well of Scotland? and indeed why is it called the Green Well of Scotland? where does the name originate from? Galloway Glens education officer, Jan Hogarth will facilitate a discussion with Well experts, geographer David Munro, Dumfries Museums Well researcher Peter Hewitt, and artist/anthropologist Katch Holmes.

Numbers are limited due to parking so do book soon via our website, https://gallowayglens.org/events/. Remember to dress for the weather and a wee walk.
