Wednesday’s Child Short Film Screening + BECTU Vision event

In October 2022, the Scottish Youth Film Foundation ran a film festival in Dumfries and trained six young people on filmmaking. These six went on to make short documentary films and they ran a live broadcast event with interviews at the festival: links are here:

The group then decided to make a short drama film, and here it is: written, directed and performed by the young people themselves. This is a chance to meet the filmmakers and see the film at 6 pm
BECTU Vision who run training courses for the film and TV industry going to be in attendance to talk to anyone interested in learning more about working in the industry, and will be doing a presentation at 7.30. There will be opportunities to talk to them informally as well and watch their presentation online if you can’t make the date.
