The annual Riding of the Marches takes place in Wigtown this Sunday, starting at noon from the Wigtown Show Field and moving to the County Buildings in the centre of the town for the start of the celebration. After this, the cavalcade will move around the town and surrounding area, returning to the County Buildings for the stirrup cup. At the end of the ride, the cavalcade will move back down to the Show Field where a picnic will be available.
