Join local author (and Galloway branch co-ordinator) Tim Cowen for a special event raising funds for the Galloway Branch of Scottish Badgers. Tim will be reading from his novel ‘Banquet of the Beasts’, an eco-thriller about the nature of power and the power of nature, a book which stars Marek Dogovsky, ‘a badger who knows no fear’.
As well as the book reading, there will be an author Q&A, nature inspired poetry and the chance to join in a discussion on the power of literature to influence our thinking on the nature and climate crises.
Entry is by donation, either by choosing the donation ticket option on Eventbrite or pay donation on the door. Its helpful if you can register in advance by Eventbrite so we know about numbers, but you can also just drop in on the day.
During Scottish Badger week Tim is donating 75% of proceeds from sales of his book to raise funds for the Galloway Branch of Scottish Badgers. We’re fundraising to purchase a trail camera for the Branch as well printing information resources for educational outreach and events. So come along and pick up a signed copy of the book if you can.
