Woodhead Trail Ride

Meeting near Garryhorn Farm, Carsphairn, we will head up into the hills following a track which takes us over the hills from Woodhead lead mines down to Lamloch and back to Carsphairn over the hills again to Carsphairn. We will share some of the history of this incredible landscape as we go. Parking will be near Garryhorn farm, Carsphairn with details emailed to you ahead of the event. Meeting on the track outside entrance to Garryhorn at 2.00pm. Booking via Eventbrite. Estimated a 3 hour ride. Experienced riders only. Horses should be shod as some of the forestry tracks are laid stone chips.
