Working Lives Walking Tour of Dumfries
With local historian Ian Gasse
Walking Tour starts at Dumfries Museum

A chance to find out more about the lives of working people in Dumfries with local historian, Ian Gasse. Visit places connected with protests, strikes, food riots and Chartism. Discover the stories behind the struggles of the people of the past to achieve working rights and better pay, to guarantee their access to food and to the vote.
