Take the opportunity to see a spectacle of flocks including ducks, waders and geese that will be brought closer to our Saltcot merse observatory on the high tide of the Solway firth, with the majestic Lakeland fells in the backdrop.
Join a warden who will be on hand to identify and explain more about the variety of wildlife encountered and the importance of this special saltmarsh habitat that we maintain.
Possible species include; Golden plover, Dunlin, Pintail, Shelduck, Barnacle geese and more. There is also a good chance of spotting birds of prey such as Hen harrier, Marsh harrier & Peregrine falcons.
