Yin Yoga – Friday Night Chakra Activation

Take some time for self care in this monthly 1.5 hour Yin yoga session – stretch, relax and simply feel better.

Stretch your body and calm your mind.

Practicing Yin Yoga can increase flexibility and release tension from your body. It has wonderful emotional, mental and energetic benefits.

This month we will be focusing on each of our Chakras from root to crown – learning how to activate each of them and how we can use awareness of the Chakras to improve different aspects of our lives.

Those who have attended before have really enjoyed this introduction to the Chakras. It is perfect for those who would like to learn more about this ancient Eastern practice or those who already enjoy working with Chakras and would like to spend some time focusing on each of the 7 energy centres for a full chakra balancing yoga practice.

All equipment is provided for you and it is suitable for all levels – including those who have not practiced Yin Yoga before.

Instructions
Please bring a mat and a cozy blanket. I also recommend using a small cushion to sit on. There are mats available to borrow if you don’t have one. All other equipment is provided but feel free to bring any blocks or bolsters that you like to use.

Wear comfortable warm layers.

Please do not follow directions on Google Maps when trying to find The Wellness Centre as it will take you to the wrong place. The address is 9 George Street Meuse. From Burns Statue go to the end of Castle Street then turn right. After a few meters turn right onto George St Meuse – you will see a sign. The Wellness Centre is straight ahead at the end. Come into the reception area and you will find the studio to your right.
