Welcome to Finding Your Inner Peace , a yoga and meditation workshop designed to help you calm your mind, and awaken a deeper sense of balance and harmony within.
In the midst of our busy lives, we can easily become caught in the noise of daily demands and forget the deeper stillness that lies within us. This is where the ancient practices of yoga and meditation offer a path back home — to ourselves. Inner peace is not about escaping life’s challenges, but meeting them with clarity and compassion. In this workshop I will share a variety of meditation techniques as well as asana and pranayama. These practices can help us in our everyday lives, by improving relationships, reducing reactivity, and strengthening our ability to respond calmly to stressful situations.
No previous experience necessary. Chairs will be available for those not comfortable sitting on the floor. Weather permitting we will share a walking meditation out in nature, so please bring outdoor shoes and outdoor clothing. Refreshments will be provided.

Jill trained as a yoga teacher at the internationally renowned Mandala Yoga Ashram in South Wales from 2015-17. Jill has been teaching yoga classes , workshops and sharing retreats for the past 9 years. She had a particular passion in yoga for mental wellbeing as well as making her classes accessible to all.
Jill loves nature and the natural world, and being creative.
She has shared yoga & meditation practices with many organisations locally including Alzheimer’s Scotland , MS society, LGBT youth, D&G NHS well being programme, with D&G carers groups, D&G ME Fibromyalgia group, McMillan cancer groups , at the Scottish Parliament and at Lothlorien therapeutic community.
